After nearly two months of briefings on Section 51, global operations relevant to your tasking, and getting to know each other, the Colonel (who you've since learned is named Colonel Michael Edwards) summons you back to the third floor of the admin building, conference room 5 for a briefing at 04:00.

Sergio arrives a minute later. His face shows all the signs of someone who didn't want to wake up at this ungodly hour. He crashes into his chair, crosses his arm and seriously considers taking one last nap in the remaining minute.

Waiting for the chatter to die down, the colonel then goes on.
"Okay, if there are no more questions, let's get to the specifics. You'll each be given a heavy arctic suit and the rest to keep your delicate asses from getting chilly. Unfortunately, they won't be the easiest things to fight in should you run into trouble. The rest--an arctic tent and the like--will be set up for you as a group. Beyond that, it's up to you to take what you want. It's not going to be easy, though, so I'd suggest you leave the fooze ball table at home."
