Misfit Studios wraps up 2005

Well, our first year of full operation and selling product has come to a close. We began with only selling the Hawkeye sampler for our OGL Barbarian product line in January and finished up in December with 35 products in our catalogue, including some from another publisher we've undertaken imprinting, Eternal Knot Games. We have also signed on for lincensing Armageddon products for Eden Studios and am also producing the much anticipated Odyssey Prime for them. Not to shabby for a newcomer to the publishing game.
What does 2006 hold? Well, with a catalogue that is finally bringing in some money, I've already returned to the World Not Known. As the project that convinced me to start Misfit Studios, I definately want to get this one on the shelves this year. Both Enemies Archvied for Armageddon and Odyssey Prime are in the final stages of production (awaiting Eden's approval.) We have lots in line for M&M Superlink, including archetypes, adventures and sourcebooks. I have some ideas for OGL Barbarian, including an addition to the superior synergy line, but the adventures I was hoping to put out all fell through after the freelancers taken on to write them backed out.
Of course, there's also our Core Specialist Wizard series to finish off (look for it in February), and we also hope that our "Powered by Spycraft" line will be up and running, not to mention continuing our Armageddon license. And who could forget SpirosBlaak? Look for the follow up to Treasure Trove #1: SpirosBlaak Arsenal, as well as an adventure by Christina Stiles (co-author of the core setting book) some magic items from Spike Y Jones (yet another part of the original team), along with some products from other publishers who have joined on to help develop the setting.
Of course, other things will be popping up as the year goes on, but this is how 2006 looks to be shaping up for the coming year. We're hoping to keep improving our products while expanding our range and quantity of work.
Happy 2006, everyone, and good gaming!
