RPGNow's data loss, Misfit Studios, and you!

As many of you may know, RPGNow's security was breached and customer credit card information has been out on the Internet for all to see since August 06. Some customers have been expressing concern with this (obviously, and with good reason), and have gone so far as to say they will no longer do any business with RPGNow, RPGShop, Drivethru (and all the mirrored sites operated by OBS.)
This is not good news considering RPGNow is the primary sales site for most PDF publishers, including Misfit Studios. However, let me set some facts straight about Misfit Studios shop and the cooperative storefront of which we are a member, http://www.yourgamesnow.com. These two shops do NOT ask you for your credit card number. Both Misfit Studios and Your Games Now work directly with Paypal, meaning all customer financial information is stored on Paypal's servers, not ours. What does this mean to you, our valued customers?
Regardless of how RPGNow's/OBS' customer databases were compromised, a similar breach simply cannot occur at the Misfit Studios shop or Your Games Now because we never ask you for or require that information.
