Silently walking away from the Lectorum, Procel proceeds to the armory. Upon arrival, he asks the servitors to ready his brother's weapon for the coming mission, and, as they are prepared (Tech Use here to check for any problems with the weapons or amors), he intones the Blessing of Purpose. As holy incense fills the room, the words of the ancient prayer echo through the room.

"Holiest of arms,
Thou art the instrument of His Will,
The spear that slays the xeno,
The hammer that condemns the heretic,
The flame that purges the mutant.
Blessed be thy aim,
That it may cleanse the universe
And bring His Light
To the encroaching darkness"

On every weapon, the blessing is repeated, and when it is concluded, Procel proceeds to the armor of his brethren;

"As adamantium cannot be punctured
As energy cannot surrender,
As faith cannot be corrupted,
Failure unto thee is obsolete.
By receiving the gifts of the Omnissiah,
Thou art invincible."

As the Blessing of Fortitude rings through the halls, the blackened armors are placed before the shrine of the Emperor, and their machine spirits are roused for the coming battles. When the rite is finished, Procel silently begins to install his armor, and waits until all his brothers depart with their equipment before proceeding to the landing bay.

Ramiel leaves the armory, thanking his battle-brother with a slight bow, going to the medical bay.

Once he arrives he checks his supplies, making sure he has enough of all to last through the mission. Medicae test

He recites his own blessing over the medical supplies. "Blessed Emperor, please grant me the skill and fortitude to bring my brothers safely home. Please, bless these supplies so that they may aid us in completing our mission," Ramiel goes on," And please, bless me with the wisdom to fight my temper, so that it won't hinder my abilities."

Unless anyone has a reason otherwise, I assume you are all prepared to load your gear and meet the shuttle at the appointed time.

You enter the hangar to the bustle of Inquisitorial technicians and labourers preparing your shuttle, among others, for disembarking. Each of you is fitted in your armor, which has been repainted black and covered in Deathwatch iconography. The left pauldron and arm are also now silver, bearing symbols of the Inquisition and its Deathwatch. The only exception is the techmarine, whose right pauldron is noticeably painted entirely black.

The Inquisitor marches out into the hangar bay before you, now wearing what seems to be a fashionable take on some form of military uniform of unknown type--a mix between the flashy pomp of an Imperial Guard general and the crisp practicality of a navy officer. A sheathed sword of some type hangs from her left hip while a large, custom bolt pistol is holstered upon her right. She seems to wear both competently.

"We've loaded sufficient ammunition, stores, and weaponry to last the mission's duration. Should we have need to requisition anything else at a later date, I'm certain I can use some back channel favors to get us what we'll need without revealing ourselves. That said, Deathwatch, we are but a few hours away for setting course. Shall we?"

With that she turns and climbs the rearward ramp into the shuttle.

Kerr grins at his brothers before heading for the shuttle's ramp to enter himself. "When do you think she'll be telling us what the mission actually is?" He chuckles and shakes his head.

As he climbs the ramp, matchng his stride to keep up with the crippled man that accopanies him, "I'm sure we'll find out before we are in the field"

Quickly inspecting the craft for any obvious issues (Tech Use), Procel silently proceeds up the ramp after his brothers.

Roland approached the landing bay, dressed in his armour, his bolter by his side. The heavy tread of the all black armour, except for the shoulder bearing the Black Templar insignia echoed through the hallways as he marched towards the waiting ship.

Ramiel kept pace with the others, reciting litanies to keep himself calmed. Taking place, he looked around at each of the squad's shoulderpads. This was the first time he noticed the diversity of this group and the troubles that different interpretations of the Codex might bring along.

You board the shuttle and find you must lift and fold back the arm rests between seats among the rows, as they are designed for human-sized occupants and cannot accommodate your massive bulks, especially with your armor and gear. Procel, you and your servo arm find the spacing especially difficult.

Inquisitor Emeriallus sits off on her own, in a single seat near the hatch up-ship into the pilots' compartment. She pulls out a data slate and begins to review its contents as the shuttle crew bustles about the chamber, performing the last of their pre-flight checks.

The checks complete, the shuttle seals and takes flight. After several minutes you exit the atmosphere and enter the black of space. From the shuttle ports, you can see the cruiser growing ahead of you, closing until it fills most of your vision through the tiny glass hole.

The cruiser is probably about 5 kilometers long but has obviously undergone some modifications by the Inquisition. The Resolute Vindication is a startling mix of black and silver, sporting crenelated towers and stylized Inquisitorial rosettes down its length, some of which are hundreds of meters tall. Several weapon lances are clearly mounted on its sides and prow (and, being a ship of the Inquisition, you can assume there are also weapons you cannot see.) Your shuttle approaches the cruiser's dark bulk and pulls alongside, traveling its length. Even though you are still hundreds of meters away, the scale of the vessel that now blocks out everything else in space is daunting.

Your flight continues along the cruiser's skin for several more minutes before you note the shuttle banking down and inward towards a magnetically shielded open bay, out of which spills a harsh yellow light broken by the shadows cast by frenzied movement within its confines.

Fuegus had pulled out a dataslate of his own as the shuttle lifted off, fast becoming absorbed once again in his readings. The approach to the cruiser goes almost entirely unnoticed until they are right on top of it. The grandeur of the looming vessel is enough for him to put way his book as he waches the approach. Seeing this symbol of the Inquisition's might up close serves to once again bring his mind to the distance he has travelled and how far away from his accustomed Battle-Brothers are right now. It's with a twinge of something like homesickness that he watches the ship pass by their viewport.

Father Vulkan, he prays, you who cast me upon the anvil of righteousness and whose hammer strokes shaped my body and mind, grant that I may prove to be of a true grain, well-tempered by your smithing and well fit to the mold that your Father has cast for us. Let my actions be that of a well-made sword, balanced and true. And let the actions of this, your tool, prove worthy of the engravings tha will be placed upon my body.

Nero kept his own peace during the shuttle flight as well, occupying himself with the copy of the Codex Astartes he kept holstered to the hip of his armour, a welcome reminder of his Chapter's legacy and the legacy of his Primarch. "For our enemies will bring us to battle on the caprice of chance. The alien and the renegade are the vagaries of the galaxy incarnate. What can we truly know or would want to of their ways or motivations? They are to us as the rabid wolf at the closed door that knows not even its own mind. Be that door. Be the simplicity of the steadfast and unchanging: the barrier between what is known and the unknowable. Let the Imperium of Man realise its manifold destiny within while without its mindless foes dash themselves against the constancy of our adamantium. In such uniformity of practice and purpose lies the perpetuity of mankind..."

Silently huddled in the back of the shuttle during the flight, his servo arm dangerously close to the crafts interior ceiling, Procel stares into the cold blackness of the void during the majority of the trip, only casually looking around to his companions and the inquisitor. As the craft approaches the The Resolute Vindication, he is slightly dismayed at it's appearance; the Inquisition is not known for it, but this craft, although impressive, could prove problematic if discretion is ever required.

As a techmarine, he also feels that the machine spirit of this great engine of war must have been severely affected by the modification of it's sacred hide, unless this is it's original deployment, and so he recites a silent prayer in Techna-Lingua for the warships machine spirit, that it may continue to strike down the enemies of the Imperium.

The shuttle lands in the massive bay with a soft thud that can be felt through the deck. As the shuttle undergoes its power down procedures, the Inquisitor patiently puts her data slate away and walks down the aisle, awaiting the shuttle's opening. Moments later the ramp lowers, slashing the relative soft light of the craft's interior with the harsh, bright light of the hangar.

"Welcome, warriors" she says to you all without turning, "to the Resolute Vindication. I understand you each have but simple needs, so a rating will arrive shortly to direct you to your ... cells. They will then give you a tour of the non-restricted areas of the ship, if you like, including the armory and training facilities that have been reserved for the Deathwatch. I'll expect you all to greet the captain and I upon the bridge at 18:30, ship time, for a briefing on the first leg of our journey."

That said, without so much as a backward glance, she heads down the ramp, turns around the shuttle's edge, and disappears from view.

Ramiel steps out of the craft into the hangar. What does the hangar look like? He looks around, asks the nearest person where the nearest medical bay is.

Once Ramiel arrives, he tries to help out with the going's-on. Medicae test if anyone is in need of it. If there is no need of my expertise I go over the group's medical conditions (if any)

Later on, around 17h30, Ramiel heads of to the bridge, knowing that since this is a ship he has never been on, it might be a while to find the fastest way to the major areas/

After following his assigned rating (who, despite his best intentions, begins to bother Procel with his overly respectful demeanor) to his assigned cell, he politely asks the man if they have the time to visit the vessel's Enginarium, to visit his fellow followers of the Omnissiah. If he manages to visit them, he introduces himself and politely asks to learn whatever information they may have about their destination and about the ship's history and present condition, before going to the bridge.

If this is impossible, he simply asks the rating to give him the best route to the bridge, with expected traveling time for a normal man, and makes a short visit to the armory and other facilities reserved for the Deathwatch before going to the bridge, trying to arrive slightly before the meeting's intended start.

With a nod to the others, Fuegus makes his way across the landing bay, allowing Aktur to keep up and following the rating's guidance to his cell. He requests for infomation on the public areas of the ship, especially if the librarium is open. His time after unpacking in the cell is spent between the librarium if possible, and meditating through physical excercise in the gymnasorium.

"I would be grateful if you made a request to the captain or another officer of rank for a visit of the Adeptus Mechanicus contingent of this vessel." Procel answers the man, indicating that he may resume the visit.

"It seems that even the Magi of the Enginarium are not masters of their own domain on this vessel... This Inquisitor is becoming more and more intriguing." Procel thinks to himself as he follows his guide through the ship's interior, taking note of any obvious details of strategic value.

Roland strides off the shuttle, taking in the vast expanse of the bay. Taking in an overview of what equipment was available on the hangar deck, he turns and stares at the rating that appears to be waiting for him. The stare that Roland gives is enough to turn an Ork orange. He stares at the Inquisitorial rating as if trying to read his soul's level of corruption and heresy. "Please give me directions to my cell, that is all i will need. Mark it on this datapad"

"I demand that you stop cowering in my presence; you are a servant of the Inquisition, not some fool cultist who needs hide from the wrath of the Imperium. Carry yourself like the man you are, not the man you think you are." Procel answers the man, who can't help but notice the slight hesitation before the end of his sentence.

"In any case, please carry on with the visit."
