Sorry about my lack of updates. I actually have no other questions for the Inquisitor.

With nothing left to say, the Inquisitor dismisses you all. Shortly thereafter, the vessel enters the warp, where it stays for a few hours before returning to normal space. Following the usual wave of disorientation that accompanies the transition, the ship-wide vox squaks "KILL TEAM SCOURGE REPORT TO THE PROW TORPEDO ROOM, REPEAT, SCOURGE TO THE PROW TORPEDO ROOM IMMEDIATELY. PREPARE FOR BOARDING ACTION."
Clearly you have reached your goal.

Gathering his weapons, Procel makes his way towards the torpedo room, slowly chanting the Litany of Arming as he loads his bolter.

Kerr likewise pads his way onwards towards the torpedo room, weapons ready as he considers the oncoming battle and the glory it will bring.

Ramiel starts whispering the litanies of hate, slowly raising his voice until it is audible to everyone in the immediate vicinity. All good

Fuegus makes his way to the staging area, checking over the action on the bolter and readying himself for the fight ahead. All set.

You enter the forward torpedo bay, immediately noticing a boarding torpedo, spanning several stories in diameter, being lowered into position by winches and chains thicker than a Space Marine's body. It comes to rest in a cradle before a launch tube, and a gangway is driven up to the side, leading to the rear entrance. You see similar activity near the front where the naval crew who will man the torpedo are being led inside. The Inquisitor awaits your arrival at the bottom of the rearmost gangway.

As you all walk past the Inquisitor and board, she blankly says to you "remember, your primary objective is retrieving the intelligence from my agent. Secondary to this is taking out the communications and life support, as they can make the former more likely. Although I know you find leaving behind any heretics as deplorable as I, do not pursue the enemy unless it is unavoidable. We cannot risk the primary objective to kill the traitors. What my agent has obtained is too important to lose. May the Emperor protect you, Space Marines of the Deathwatch." She then turns crisply and walks away, leaving you all to board.
[For this mission you will have no Requisition, as would be normal. As you are settling down and awaiting launch, you must all vote on who is to be the leader and then take any Oaths you wish for the mission's duration. You should also talk over any plans you have for obtaining the objectives.]

"It is imperative that we bring back this information our Lady seeks, Procel begins grimly, turning to his fellow, But if the ship harbors Astartes who have turned away from the light, we cannot ignore them. They may have forsaken him, but they are still the Emperor's sons; if their sins cannot be redeemed, the least we could do is to end their torment." he adds melancholically, touching his own blackened pauldron.

Kerr nods faintly. "The machine spirits are known to you brother. Is there a way to destroy the vessel from within once we have the needed information?"

"The Enginarium houses both the plasma engines and the warp core. Overloading or breaching the first could result in full reactor meltdown, leading to a cataclysmic detonation when the remaining fuel reacts, utterly annihilating the ship and possibly damaging other nearby ships. We do not want to touch the second; the consequences of a warp core collapse and of the subsequent opening of an unprotected conduit into the Warp, although impossible to predict, would undoubtedly be horrible." Procel answers, In either case, remote detonation would be preferable to direct sabotage, to increase the odds of survival.

"So making our way to the Enginarium seems to be the best bet. That was where the Inquisitor's contact was said to be correct?"

Kerr nods. "The Codex holds articles for this?" He looked towards their Ultramarine brother, the one likely most versed in the document. "We need to enter, find our way to the agent and get him out in one piece, as well as destroying the vessel. How we arrive is simple.." He gestures at the boarding torpedo. "How do we extract ourselves from their vessel before it's destroyed?"

"Timed Melta-charges on the reactors might do the trick." Ramiel interjects, "But we would need a way of preventing the enemy from disabling them." He looks over to his techmarine brother. "Is there a possibility of the charges exploding if they are tampered with?"

[Guys, I sincerely apologize but between job related matters and other commitments and life issues I'm afraid I'm just burning out and unable to commit to this like I'd hoped I could when I signed on, and it isn't fair for any of you or for Steve to keep waiting for me to get my act together. Steve, if you know of someone else who'd like to take my character over then I think that would be better for the game going forward. Again, my apologies to everyone.]

[okay, I've posted a call to fill the absent player spots: the Ultramarine and Space Wolf who never really showed up.
Do you guys know who you want to lead the mission?]
A rating nods his head at your discussion and voxes to have three melta charges delivered from the armory.

Procel is reticent to lead the squad (he's a black shield, an exile from his own kin, and leading his own against renegades is not exactly kosher), but he will do so if the others prefer it.

Roland sits, his head down deep in thought, considering the mission and the need for a leader to call the squad to order.

Kerr nods as the melta charges are sent for, thinking a moment. "Brother Procel, how much do you know about this class of vessel? Can we take and seize one of their shuttles or Thunderhawks and cleanse it of their taint to return with the Inquistior's agent?
I will step forward as squad leader if accepted, and we'll find honour in this task. Regardless of who leads, many of the Enemy will die today.
