I guess the big questions, since OGL Barbarian heroes tend to lose whatever treasure they get their hands on, is why spend too much time on treasure?
The items from Barbaric Treasures are great to build adventures around, but the treasure will be gone by the next game. I could see you adding these in to spruce up some of the adventures you asked people to write.
The Atlantean weapons, especially, are going to work well for an adventure idea I have in some old ruins by the sea, but I don't plan on letting the PCs get attached to any "magic items".
That said, if you did another 'Treasures' book, I think I would like to see some regional items, expanding on armor piecemeal, in particular, and on weapons and regional treasures (what kind of goblet, urn, ewer, etc.. while the heroes find in a particular ruin or merchant's house based on the culture).
We know that the 'chivalrous nation by the sea' makes superior leather jerkins, but what about superior leather bracers? Could there be regional pieces of armor?
I'd also like to see different ways a freebooter's arming sword might be different that a city-state's arming sword, even if statistically they were the same. Or a tulwar from the jungle kingdom is different than one from the great nomad empire.
Then again, while an interesting read, I wouldn't use it, excepts as flavor, when needed. That's my random input.
