Alexander, bewildered by the maneuvers and sticking close to the leader, flinches at the sudden burst of noise.

"Has anyone shot one yet? I need to know if bullets stop them!"

Not understanding exactly what's going on, but thinking it shouldn't be all that bad if it makes him more focused, Sergio inhales, holds his breath and pulls the trigger, shooting the incoming wolf dead between its eyes.

if the wolves are in my weapons range I will fire a shot as well

Sparks looks around at their new postion ready's his weapon to fire at the next wolf in line "Hope this time your shot hits or we are going to be getting an up close look at some claws and fangs"

"One down... a lot to go," Sergio says into his radio, while taking aim at the second wolf.

"I never miss, Sparks. That first shot failed because the bullet didn't do as I told", he quips, smiling without taking his eyes from the scope. Being more conservative now, Sergio decides not to go for a head shot, content on the knowledge that the Steyr packs enough punch to drop these critters with one round.

Once again, the icy wastes of Antarctica echo with the gun fire of the sniper's rifle.

How many dogs are there again?

"Two down", Sergio says into the radio. He aims again and shoots the closest wolf. That's the stuff. Come one, doggies! Let me kick your frigid lupine asses all the way to Cold Church Central. , he thinks, as his enthusiasm swells with each successful shot.

Whatever this peaceful feeling stuff is, I'm ordering it for the next mission.

Steve, assume Sergio is shooting once a Turn after aiming. At this rate, will he have gone through all the wolves before he are upon him?

Yep.

You pull the trigger again and the gun barks loudly, hitting the creature dead center, causing his body to seemingly explode within your sights.

dispite the danger that Sergio and Sparks are in with the wolves barreling towards them....Sparks gets a slight grin on his face...."I have got to get me one of those for next time"

Sparks lines up again and fires again at the remaining wolves.
