The Misfit Studios Crew

The following people are affiliated with Misfit Studios™ in some way, shape, or form.

Misfit Staffers

The flesh and blood of Misfit Studios™, the following Misfits are to blame for keeping the company running. Without these people, there wouldn't be a Misfit Studios™ for you to make fun of.

Name: Steven "Conan" Trustrum
Title: Le Grande Fromage (also known as "the company's president")
Role/Duties: Running the show, writing, and anything else that needs doing.
Birth Date: Sept. 18, 1975

The Lord & Master Misfit

I started Misfit Studios™ for many reasons. First, nothing beats being your own boss. Second, although I've had some great experiences as a freelancer, there have also been times that made me want to quit the industry outright, and so I felt it was time to do the kind of work that I wanted to be doing, for myself, with people who also believed as I do: that role-playing games should be as fun for those making them as they are for those who play them.

Name: Christina Stiles
Title: Line developer
Role/Duties: Line development, writing and editing
Birth Date: If we tell you, Christina will hurt us. Badly.

Hi. My name is Christina, and I'm a misfit. I've been working in the gaming industry since 2000 (see my web site for published projects). I met Steven Trustrum, Misfit's president, through email while working as editor of Atlas Games' Uncommon Character, a book Steven contributed to. Over the years, we've worked on several projects together, including two that are ultimately finding a home with Misfit: SpirosBlaak and Odyssey Prime. I look forward to continuing our collaborations, and I hope you'll enjoy the fruits of our twisted minds.

Misfit Freelancers & Associates

Although these Misfits aren't (yet?) a part of the core oddballs that run this place, they contribute to the company's products and have earned a place here.

Comic Dude

I was born in Brockville, Ontario in the mid seventies. I've been a comic fan as long as I can remember since my Dad tried to get me to read by buying me comics. Much to his chagrin, I started drawing instead. I've drawn professionally for 8 years now, with a variety of experience (graphic design, t-shirt design, window painting, portraiture, story boards and of course comics!) under my belt. I've moved a lot too - Dryden, ON (where I grew up), Winnipeg, MB, Lethbridge, AB and now Toronto, ON. I live in a great part of town in a loft/studio with my girlfriend, two roommates and two cats.

Gary Dupuis

Although I’ve been playing RPGs for longer than I care to admit, I’ve only recently crossed over into the Industry side of things. Misfit and I first stumbled into each other after Steven put out a call for Conan inspired barbarian art. What self-styled fantasy illustrator could turn that down?

I live in Brampton, Ontario where I split my time between bringing life to Steven’s fevered creations and using the sheer power of my mp3 collection to try to convince the neighbourhood it’s still the 1980s.
