I’m thinking of running a contest, and from beneath you they devour (well, not really, but it sounds cool)

Here’s the scoop: I used to hold customer contests every now and again, but haven’t done so in a number of years. I’m currently thinking of starting this practice back up with regards to my Savage Worlds mini-PDFs.

The most obvious way to run a contest is to have people submit creatures they’ve designed and then post a poll to the blog to let you, the readers, choose the top four which would then be released in a mini-PDF. All winners would receive a free copy of the final product and the creature with the most votes would also get some other prize. Nothing too complicated about that, right?

However, I’m also interested in trying different types of contests, so if anyone has any ideas, by all means post them in the comments section of this post.

On another note, work is almost done on the dual player race / creature mini-PDF release combo I’ve been working on and hinting at in previous posts. I’m still not going to say what they are, but I think people will be happy.
