Misfit Studios is pleased to announce it shall be operating under Crafty Games' "Powered by Spycraft" license to add espionage and military action to our line-up. First out of the gates will be a PbS addition to our popular Superior Synergy line of products. Superior Synergy: Espionage will provide incredibly detailed skill synergies for this fantastic rule set, as well as offer new options on how feats may be selected to supplement each other to new effect.

Misfit Studios Hacked: May 16/05
Misfit Studios' web site was hacked today. Thankfully I was on the server at the time and caught it before too much happened. Some key files were erased and the forums were thoroughly trashed, although a lot had been replaced or erased. Because the boards had been modified from their standard programming, all attempts to reload from backup are resulting in a failure to resynch with the MySQL database. Unfortunately, this means I have to waste a lot of time rebuilding the boards and everyone needs to start a new account once they are back up.

Bizzaro Games announces that the long-awaited Odyssey Prime, a Modern d20/Unisystem™ game of world-hopping, will soon be released as a pdf product by Misfit Studios (www.misfit-studios.com) on DriverThruRPG in conjunction with Eden Studios, producers of Unisystem™.
In Odyssey Prime, the players are part of a covert group “officially” assigned to FEMA. They are one of the few let in on two governmentally protected secrets: a massive asteroid will strike Earth in 2012, destroying all life as we know it; the government has discovered an unusual piece of technology that allows them to travel to other worlds, and they hope this device will allow them to find planets suitable to sustain life and mass amounts of refugees. Players take on two roles in this game: they are both the planetary explorers in a race against time to save humanity, and they are the “black ops” Dam Con agents who suppress governmental leakages and annihilate internal enemies, both domestic and extraterrestrial. The main rulebook includes an adventure that integrates these two roles, giving Game Masters and players a look at the game’s possibilities.

Bizzaro Games, producers of the upcoming d20 SpirosBlaak (www.spirosblaak.com) game published through Green Ronin’s Mythic Vista line and the upcoming Odyssey Prime game to be produced through Misfit Studios (www.misfit-studios.com), is merging with Misfit Studios. Christina Stiles, Bizzaro Games’ president, will begin work with Misfit Studios as line developer for SpirosBlaak and Odyssey Prime. She will also be writing and editing for Misfit’s other soon-to-be announced game lines.
Christina says, “I’ve had a difficult time getting Bizzaro Games’ products to fruition, so teaming up with Steven Trustrum, Misfit Studios’ president, with whom I’ve collaborated on many projects, seemed like the best move. Steven has great vision and initiative, and Misfit Studios has been adding some very interesting pdfs to the OGL market of late. As Steven authored SpirosBlaak and co-authored Odyssey Prime , these products will receive the attention they are due under Misfit Studios’ helm.”
