When the dwarves fled their city of Mundaes during Sallous Yar's final assault, the Lavayne stayed behind to defend their retreat and destroy the city. Rumors and tales have long since spread, however, of a city of Lavayne that has risen from the Mundaes' ashes beneath Fire Eye Mountin -- a city of wonders and secrets. All such tales speak of a great secret the Lavayne protect in the name of their gods, a secret that must remain a mystery for the sake of all the world. Of course, it could all just be stories and nothing more.
