Found throughout the land since Gods' Fall, regions have become twisted and darkened by a corruption that eats away at the life and the land itself like a festering disease. Creatures that dwell too long become just as fouled, succumbing to the black evil known simply as "corruption." If anyone knows for sure what causes this phenomenon, they are not sharing that information.
