The navies of Nolmedron and Witch Hill have long fought for control of the Lake of Dreams because of its key role with regards to inland trade, especially in the north. Somehow, defying nature, the River of Fire passes through the lake as two strong currents, only to continue from Drome Lok's south shore as though the lake did not exist. The lake draws its name from a famous myth declaring there to be a shaft to the Plane of Dreams at the lake's bottom, but no one who has explored this tale have ever returned.
