This citadel rises above above Barbas Vode from atop an escarpment, granting its guns a wide field of vision against trouble from the north and west. Aside from its reputation as a fortress, the Stout Stone is also home to the Barbas Fusiliers, the Archduchy's most skilled and renowned musketmen.
