The Dwarf Hold was founded by the dwarves fleeing Mundaes' destruction and was carved from the earth itself. The city is contained by a wall that towers above the highest building and extends out into Drome Lok, protecting the seaward approach as much as it protects from the land. The dwarves themselves live around the Spindle, a massive shaft cut below the surface city where they can work at their mines and forges without being disturbed.
