A Misfit fan sent me a link to a recent podcast over at Gamer’s Haven. The podcast deals with many things, the largest portion being devoted to a run through of a rather cool sounding world-building tool, Dawn of Worlds.

Misfit Studios is the last thing discussed in the podcast (we come up at about an hour and twenty minutes in), at which point the podcast team talks about Misfit Studios and our products, focusing mainly on our Savage Worlds mini-pdfs and Better Mousetrap, one of our more popular Superlink products (which is soon to be getting an upgrade to 3e.) Gamer’s Haven seemed to have really liked what they saw as Ethan, the gent doing most of the talking about the PDFs, “raved” about their quality (hey, it’s their own words from their web site, not mine, but I’ll take it!) and seems to enjoy the price point versus what you get in return.

It’s not only always nice to find out your products are well-received, but as the writer behind them I personally enjoy hearing that you’ve made a good impression on a customer and fellow gamer. I’m sure the playtesters behind those products feel the same, as they also contributed to shaping them into their final version.

So, thanks to the guys at Gamer’s Haven for the glowing review, and we hope to keep you happy with our future releases.

Switching gears a bit, let’s talk about the SpirosBlaak Chronicles, the new interactive story I’ve managed to yank some poor monk into working on without his knowledge. By reading his journal entries, you’ll be able to keep up with Brother Cedric’s travels throughout the Archduchy of SpirosBlaak, learning about the setting and its occupants in preparation for the re-release of SpirosBlaak, the setting book, for the Savage Worlds game system.
