Coming Next: the First Magic/Powers release for Savage Worlds
So far our Savage Worlds releases have been themed: magic items, player races, monsters, etc. So, our next release will expand on this by being the first to deal with powers and the like, but it won’t be our traditional 3 to 6 page mini-PDF format. This PDF will be upwards of 15 or so pages due to the content it will be covering. A conversion of some materials released for another game system years ago, the first powers release will provide new rules for locations tied to magic, gods, or the like, detailing what such sites are capable of and how your heroes can build their own. Look for Powers Grimoire: Places of Power to come out at the end of this week or early next week at the latest. Dragon Men Pt. 2: the Monster Stats
As was mentioned several posts ago, the Dragon Men were meant to cover two products, much as was done with the Dark Elves. Well, here you have it: Monster Brief: Dragon Men. In this product you will find the dragon men, creatures most likely born of dragonkind. Expanding on the materials presented in Player Races: Dragon Men, this product includes new monster entries using this race that can be used to aid or oppose your heroes. The drakeherds are largely wingless dragon men who make up for this shortcoming by harnessing drakes as deadly war mounts in battle, the Guardians of Flame hold to an old creed and wander the land helping their people (whether they want it or not), the arcane dragon men sorcerer lords covet power, both worldly and mystic, and the warlords thirst only for battle. What’s Old Shall Become New Again
While sorting through some old files the other day, I came across some of my OGL Barbarian material. As I was looking it over, it struck me how a little conversion work would make some of it a great addition to the Savage Worlds materials Misfit Studios has been putting out.
